The Teen Aircraft Factory of Manasota (TAFM) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to helping our local teens discover the world of aviation. Mentored by aviation professional and enthusiast, who are members of the Experimental Aircraft Association Chapter 180 (EAA180), our teens have built several two-seat airplanes from a kit.

Although our mentors donate their time, there are costs associated with this program whereby we rely on Donors like you to keep going. Costs include hangar rental expenses at Sarasota-Manatee Airport, kits that include the various airplane components, aircraft paint, FAA inspections fees, and various other expenses.
